Nestled in the heart of beautiful Hilton Head Island are three interconnected developments covering 2,000 acres – Palmetto Dunes, Shelter Cove and Leamington. As you enter Shelter Cove, there is an imposing statue of King Neptune, one of the world’s largest working sundials, standing watch over the harbour.

The marina has a 170-slip yacht basin and is anchored by the Ship’s Store, offering a full line of sports clothing and accessories. There are water sports from deep sea and in-shore fishing charters to windsurfing, kayaking, sailing, powerboat and dinner cruises. Outside Hilton Head at Shelter Cove Plaza offers kayak and outdoor sports.

Shelter Cove Harbour has a complete shopping experience with over 20 shops and a variety of dining from sidewalk cafes to casual restaurants. The Disney Hilton Head Resort (vacation ownership) is located on Longview Island, a private island at Shelter Cove Marina and offers access to the beach for their visitors and Palmetto Dunes owners at their Beach Pavilion next to Villamare and Captains Walk.

Shelter Cove Plaza, home to Schembra Real Estate Group, Inc. offers all the conveniences you need with a wonderful selection of retail, dining and services. Plaza stores: Piggy Wiggly and Starbucks, Swiss Time jewelry store, TJ Maxx, Optical Solutions, Outside Hilton Head, A Shore Thing, Wine & Spirits Shop, FB3 Store, Larry’s Giant Subs, Fuddruckers and Giuseppe’s Pizza and Pasta Restaurant.

Next to the Plaza is The Mall at Shelter Cove, the only enclosed mall on Hilton Head Island, anchored by Belk’s and Off 5th Avenue.

Just minutes from the Harbour is the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina that houses the Elizabeth Wallace Theatre and Walter Greer Art Galley, offering an array of professional year- round entertainment from concerts to Broadway entertainment.
